Watching sunrise on a lake has always been a source of joy and peace for me. This morning was no different. Los Lagos is series of lakes that sit on the border of Gilpin County and Boulder County and reflect the Continental Divide. I arrived when the sky just began to hint at the coming day and set my camera on the east bank of the lake. With the sun rising behind me the mountains began to glow orange as the sun painted them with the light of the new day. The lake reflected the green field of alpine grasses, the mountains beyond and the pale blue morning sky. This is Chromascape 021.  ~ Marc
