I made this Chromascape on my way to a Nordic ski race Eirwen had this past February in Leadville, CO. I set my camera up in the pre-dawn darkness on the bank of Dillon Reservoir which was covered in fresh snow and waited for the sunrise. It was 6° and perfectly still out. The sky began to glow and morph though a full palette of colors as the sun came up. Chromascape 061 is the sky awash with beautiful purples and pinks just before the sunlight touched the snow-capped mountains in the distance with the hibernating reservoir reflecting the morning colors.  ~ Marc
