CHROMASCAPE 090
MOUNTAIN WILDFLOWERS ON THE SWITZERLAND TRAIL
We have been very fortunate to have had a very wet spring here in the Colorado Rocky Mountains. Not only does all this rain reduce our immediate wildfire danger, it has also made the lush landscape super colorful with abundant wildflowers.
This image was made along the historic Switzerland Trail at 8,500’ in Boulder County on a sunny and breezy morning. The shadowing and waviness in the image (which I find very cool) is a result of the flowers and grasses moving in the wind which is then compounded by the moving camera. Chromascape 090 is smear of vibrant color from a hillside of purple Larkspur, Mountain Lupine, Golden Banner, Mountain Parsley, and native grasses all dancing in the summer breeze. ~ Marc
