While walking around Baldwin Beach, I became enamored with the colors on the ponds surrounding the lake. The grasses, lily pads, pine trees, and blue sky all contributed interesting structure and color to the scene. For this image I tilted the camera up during my long exposure blurring the scene vertically instead of my traditional horizontal method. The midday sun reflected bright highlights off all the lily pads floating on the pond contributing a thousand streaks of light to the photograph. Chromascape 106 is lily pads glimmering in the high noon sun and floating on the blue water surrounded by lush green pine trees. ~ Marc
