This image was created while standing on the breakwater between the inlet and the docks in the Santa Barbara Harbor. I had just finished making Chromascapes of Sterns Wharf in the inlet side of the harbor - see Chromascape 098. The sun had set and the last color of the evening was draining from the sky. I turned to face the docks to call it a night when I was stopped by the lights on the boats and docks and how they contrasted beautifully with the fading sunset sky. This is Chromascape 119. ~ Marc
