It was the middle of April and I felt the need for a little self-care road trip, so I set out before dawn to wander around Colorado for the day. On my way down the canyon the horizon began to glow, so I stopped in the hills above Boulder to just be still and take in the sunrise. The first light of a new day usually fills me with a sense of renewal. On this morning, the full spectrum of colors illuminating the sky as the sun peaked over the plains were inspiring and felt like a promise that the possibilities of this new day were infinite and good.
