I made this Chromascape on a stormy afternoon looking out across Rocky Flats in Boulder County. This is one of those moments that nature puts on a show of colors and light that suspends everything happening in my day to just be present in the magic of the moment. I set my camera up looking south east over Rocky Flats. The thunder storm had begun to move on further across the plains and the sky was clearing behind me over the Divine. For about 20 minutes before the sun dropped behind the mountains. The wet spring grasses were luminous in the last rays of daylight against the dissipating storm clouds.
