This image was made while standing on the end of the breakwater in Santa Barbara Harbor. Looking out to the ocean as the late afternoon sunlight fell across the scene, I caught highlights of the sun reflecting off boats in their slips, the expanse of the concrete sea wall, and the irregular shadows from the rock breakwater on the sand and water of the harbor inlet.
